N2XH Cable Meaning
- N: indicates that the product is designed and manufactured according to VDE standards
- 2X: indicates that the cable uses XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation
- H: indicates that the cable uses LSZH (low-smoke, zero-halogen) outer sheath
N2XH Cable Description
N2XH cables feature copper conductors and XLPE insulation. Their low-smoke, zero-halogen, flame-retardant, non-corrosive (FRNC) outer sheaths prevent the spread of fire and reduce the emission of smoke and corrosive gases, thus limiting the damage caused by fire accidents.
N2XH cables are available with (N2XH-J) or without (N2XH-O) a green/yellow protective conductor.
